Zombie Media Timeline

I created these illustrations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The client, a singer/songwriter based out of Manchester, UK, requested illustrations to use on posters and online to advertise her various live, musical performances. She requested that the final products be semi-realistic, color illustrations to represent her image. The original photos shown on the bottom right were provided by the client.

The ABCs Of Fashion

Comic Collectors Project

I created these layout designs using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator for an advertising project to explore the comic book industry and market of comic book collectors. I chose to create the booklet using bright colors and dots making it reminiscent of comic book designs throughout the years. The photos were provided by those who were interviewed and text was written by three other members of the team and I.

Design & Layout

Vincent

I created this cover art using a Nikon DSLR camera and Adobe Photoshop. The client, a singer/songwriter based out of Strabane, UK, requested cover art for a new single being released. The image on the bottom right was provided by the client. He requested that I create similar artwork that would fit the tone of his song. I started by editing the given image and creating similar artwork using his photo, then branched out to images of my own. The final product, shown on the left was created using a photo from my own collection and simple title text along the top to fit the folk rock tone of his music. The cover art, along with the clients' music, can be viewed here

These WOUB Sports pages were created using HTML, CSS, JQuery, and Javascript. The wireframes shown above were created using Adobe InDesign and Omnigraffle to use in the design process. They were designed and developed by a team consisting of myself and four others as a redesign of the WOUB Sports pages. We met with the clients many times through the course of the redesign to ensure that we were meeting their expectations and keeping within the WOUB branding styles. The photo, text, and video content was supplied by members of the WOUB staff.

I created this layout and these illustrations using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. The spreads were created for Thread Magazine, an online fashion publication run by students of Ohio University. I chose fashion items provided to me in the text to illustrate and placed them among the text to serve as examples and references for the reader. Text was provided by writers and editors of the publication. This piece was featured in the March 2013 issue of Thread Magazine.

I created this interactive Zombie Media Timeline using Adobe Flash. The content was gathered from online film sources to show the appearance of zombie-like creatures in different forms of media through history. Each timeline item features rollover states to show the year and information about each item is shown when selected. The timeline can be viewed online here

Music Cover & Promotional Art

Handwritten Envelopes

Amber

Rather than decorating and addressing these envelopes normally, I decided to give them a bit more flair by adding my own handwritten typography. Many were inspired by typefaces I had found and recreated using drawing pens of various sizes and colors.

Rockabilly & Roll

I created this cover art using a Nikon DSLR camera and Adobe Photoshop. The client, a musican based out of Chicago, requested cover art for a new single being released.  After hearing her work and discussing some ideas, I acquired props, scouted a location, and scheduled a photoshoot with her. During the shoot I captured these images for use in her cover art, promotional materials, and online forums and edited them to match the tone of her song. The photos, cover art, and her music can be found here. The client and I are currently working together to create a cohesive look and branding for her future work.
